Benjamin Turner has served companies in the financial and technology sectors for over 15 years, living and working in the U.S., Latin America, and MENA region.  Prior to founding Meridian, Ben worked for New York-based Broadsword Partners, where he served as Director of International Business Development, participating in equity investments, capital-raising efforts, project financing, and evaluations of over $400 million in value.  In addition, Ben led long-term efforts on behalf of a U.S.-based alternatives and managed futures firm in generating specialized research to enhance the client’s understanding of EMEA and Latam financial markets.  As Founder and Managing Director of Meridian Business Advisers since 2018, Ben has applied his experience to advise globally recognized firms such as Related and Dinosaur in developing profound understandings of select markets and asset classes, expanding their international footprint, and identifying strategic partners with bottom-line impact.   Ben has been an early investor and served as a strategic advisor to the world's leading geolocation travel safety information company, whose platform produces the most detailed location safety ratings in the world.  Ben is a Spanish and Arabic speaker, plays piano and the uke, is a major fan of Carlos Alcaraz, science fiction, and IPAs, and is currently located in Orange County, California.
